As you’ll read this story, you will probably think that it’s not real, and I don’t blame you, because at first I thought the same thing. I thought that Valerie Carlton’s story seems to have been picked up from the twilight zone and would better fit in a horror movie. It even crossed my mind, and asked myself how is it possible in the 21st century United States of America-where an individual is [or should be] considered innocent until proven guilty-stripped, first, of her parental rights, then of her constitutional rights, thrown in jail, abused and maltreated by the prison’s officials, based on no more than mere allegations, and unsubstantiated stories, and no one seems to lift a finger to help her.

There are very few crimes as heinous as the sexual abuse of a child. Decent people recoil in disgust at such offenses against the innocent and helpless.
Unfortunately, vindictive people in the middle of divorces have discovered thataccusing a hated ex spouse of child abuse can, if successful ruin the ex’s life forever, cost them thousands of dollars to clear their name, and cut them off from the children they share from a marriage gone bad...
Jewish Federation of Rockland County
Valerie Carlton, a Jewish woman accused of assaulting a prison guard in Maryland and who fled to Monsey last year after 28 felony charges of sexual assault against her were dismissed for lack of evidence, will remain in the Rockland County jail, pending a decision by Gov. Andrew Cuomo on whether to grant her extradition to that state.
A hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, at which time the court will consider granting bail, according to Carlton’s New City attorney, Phil Murphy.

"In 2010, I wrote a number of posts regarding the false charges against Valerie Carlton in Harford County, Maryland, home of the infamous prosecutor Joseph Casilly, who once tried to have a man put into prison for 15 years because he had the audacity to film a cop sticking a gun in his face."

"This is quite possibly the worst custody case in 20th and 21st century America. What Valerie Carlton's ex-husband, Russell Carlton, and the judicial and penal authorities in Harford County, Maryland, did from 2009-2010--and what they are still trying to do to this poor mother, in Harford County, Maryland is as bad, and possibly worse, than what was done to Elizabeth Parsons Ware Packard in the 19th century in Illinois."
